Visited Broad Street Oyster Company for the Yelp Elite event located in the iconic Ghirardelli Square of San Francisco. Chris the owner and the whole BSO team provided warm & cold lobster rolls, oysters, shrimp cocktail, mushroom rolls, and mini burgers, and let me say everything was so exceptional. If you're coming in for dinner or a quick drink Broad Street Oyster Company offers great selections with a great view of the Bay!

Broad Street Oyster Company at Ghirardelli Square is a gem! The moment you step in, you're greeted with stunning views of the bay that sets the tone for a fun and relaxing experience. The interior is thoughtfully designed to resemble the hull of an upscale yacht, creating a mood of laid back maritime elegance. The seafood bar is an eye catching and expansive bar with comfortable seats. The main dining room is thoughtfully arranged with booth and table seating, ensuring that every guest can soak in the beautiful bay views while dining. Broad Street is well known for their delicious lobster rolls--served either warm with butter or chilled with mayo--but the menu boasts other seafood options from the fresh raw bar to calamari to fish and chips, and even includes a tasty burger! During my visit the staff are what truly set Broad Street apart from other places. Everyone was an absolute delight and genuinely took pride in their roles and the restaurant. On several occasions I witnessed staff interact with customers with warmth and attentiveness. That's a memorable thing and is missed on many restaurants across the City. I had an amazing time at Broad Street and recommend it to anyone looking for delicious seafood, beautiful views, and outstanding service.

The food was good. The mushroom roll was really tasty, though I would've liked a little more filling. The coleslaw was ok, needed some more seasoning. The burgers were very good. The fries were super crisp and well seasoned. The aesthetic was cute, fitting for the food. We enjoyed it all. It was a bit expensive but to be expected in the area. Service was relatively quick. We liked having burgers and seafood options in one place.

Finally made it here! Delicious! Lobster, soft shell crab, and oysters, what more can a seafood lover ask for? What we ordered: Lobster roll: Delicious! I was happy to see that they gave us a good amount of lobster meat that was fresh. Only sad part is that they didn't have uni, so I'll have to return and try again. softshell crab sandwich: great and balanced well with Cole slaw. fries: aoili was yummy with the fries Oysters: fresh! Crudo: probably the only dish I didn't love. It was good, but the sauce and quality didn't bring out the flavors as much. Otherwise this place is self-seating. It's larger than I expected and also less crowded than I expected! Staff was friendly. There's some good window views as well. Great spot for those seafood lovers craving a good lobster roll for a good price given the quantity.

They BLEW IT OUT OF THE PARK!!! There was so much lobster in our rolls and the fries were perfectly salted and crispy. Hands down one of the best lobster rolls we have ever had. And the view was just an added bonus.

Pleasant counter service, with staff going out of their way to provide exceptional customer service (they have "serve yourself" water, server offered to get water for us). Unbeatable view from the dining room. Watch container ships coming into port or view Alcatraz from the comfort of the dining room. Lobster roll had plenty of lobster meat in it and roll was expertly toasted. I chose melted butter but they also offer mayonnaise if that's what you prefer. I found the lobster was slightly overcooked but overall a very tasty dish. We wanted just a small side Caesar salad but were disappointed to learn they only offer the entree-sized Caesar. We got it anyway and it was delightful. Came well dressed with a perfect amount of fresh Parmesan and also had shaved anchovies - ew, so fancy! Really great salad - I'd get this again for sure, but probably opt for the crab Caesar salad next tim

So we walked into the Ghirardelli Square, hoping for two things: goodies (from Yelp's Juneteenth Fest) and then some fresh n' tasty seafood in my mouth! I copped the Yelp gear and browsed around the cool vendors, but I really came here for the fish! So inside we went. This place reminds me of a casual version of Mel's Drive-Inn, but for the fisher dudes. The view through the window, overlooking the waters is too purty. My favorites parts of this place is the trophy shark's head and the Broad Street Oyster logo behind the seafood bar. The Broad Street logo somehow reminds me of that old cartoon from The Jetsons. Broad Street Oyster Co. has been making some waves (pun intended) since opening and I knew that I had to try it out for myself. Of course, in the many many reels I've seen, I was tempted to scarf down a Seafood Tower, the Lobster Roll, and even some Caviar on the side. Still, I'm a fried-food connoisseur and I just had to taste trial Broad Street's Fish n' Chips. For some odd reason, I was immediately impressed by the shallow bowls which the Fish n' Chips were served in. The bowls had the look of a Dixie Ultra quality paper plate, but upon the touch, these bowls were composed of a featherweight, yet durable ceramic. The service here was fast, friendly and professional. It just seemed like a clean and healthy work environment for its workers to enjoy and thrive in. As for the fish, the presentation was as expected. The fish was a beautiful golden-brown hunk of crispiness laying on top of golden yella' taters. The lemon zest added a nice touch to the fish as well. Paired with the Fish N' Chips was a small dollop of Broad Street's Tartar Sauce. This was a simple dish, yet the quality of everything (even the tartar sauce) spoke volumes. The fries were no ordinary tasting fries. The tartar sauce...with just a tip of the fry dipped inside...blew my mind! I've had my share of fish and chips in California, but Broad Street prepared such a simple dish into something refreshing for me. Normally, I don't like it when fish falls apart, but even though mine tender fish slab was flaking.....it tasted so fresh I just didn't care anymore. I was really hoping to get at least two fishies at its price point, but it's a fair deal for the quality you get in return. Next time I come here I'm requesting for a minimum of four (4) dollops of tartar sauce!!!! It's that amazing!!! 4.8 out of 5!

I have sworn for years this is the best lobster roll in Southern California, and happy to now say up north too! I lived in LA for many years and was a frequent regular to the Malibu location. Some days for just a beer and oysters, others crudo and catch of the day, sometimes butter lobster roll and sometimes cold with mayo. Everything is absolutely outstanding and the staff is not shy of this either. I've always had an exceptional experience, even if there happens to be a line! Please go check this new spot out in Ghirardelli square. You will not be disappointment. Always so friendly and fresh!
